We’re the Batiste family — Fitzgerald, Zandrea, and Zaria — and travel is more than vacations for us… it’s personal.
In 2009, our lives changed when Fitzgerald became paralyzed. What once felt simple — boarding flights, navigating cruise terminals, checking into hotels — required strategy, accessibility planning, and detailed coordination.
We quickly learned that travel looks different when you live it from a wheelchair.
But we made a decision: paralysis would not cancel our passport.
Through experience, research, faith, and determination, we mastered how to travel confidently and comfortably — and that experience became the foundation of Batiste Wheelin Adventures.

The strategist behind the scenes. From pricing and booking to monitoring deals and handling logistics, Zandrea ensures every detail is handled with precision and care. Her background in finance and leadership means your investment is protected and your experience is seamless.

Fitz brings real-life expertise to accessible travel. Having navigated airports, cruise ships, resorts, and excursions as a wheelchair user, he helps ensure accommodations truly meet mobility needs — not just what looks good online.
